Meet 9 year old blood hound Jasper, Strafford county’s retired police dog. Jasper has spent years as the search and rescue dog to the Strafford County Sheriffs office. Using his big wet nose to find the bad guys keeping our community safe and to search and rescue those who needed to be saved. Sadly, Jasper has recently been diagnosed with cancer and will need a very expensive surgery. As a community Jasper needs our help just as he helped us. He is a big old (very drooly) goof ball, smart, handsome and a good boy with the longest flip floppity cute ears. His owner officer Kerkensen and his family love and adore Jasper deeply. I have been Jaspers local Vet Techncian since he was a puppy (see picture in comment for cuteness overload ) and he has a special place in my heart so wanted to make a post to try to help him!
