The mission of the New Hampshire Department of Corrections is to protect the public and offer offenders opportunities for self-improvement. To meet this mission, Probation and Parole enforce court orders through monitoring, bail supervision and pre-sentence investigations.
Probation and Parole Officers will provide:
- Strict supervision of court ordered offenders including monitoring, bail supervision and electronic monitoring;.
- Enforcement of the conditions of probation and parole including but not limited to drug and rehabilitative home inspections, alcohol testing, curfews, and monitoring of all treatment programs;
- Periodic contact with treatment providers to verify offender compliance; and
- Swift and certain action for offender non-compliance.
